Reunion, Refreshement, Achievement....

1. Had a very eventful day today.. met my old college friends after a very hectic day at work..it's been years since all of us met last, so all were looking for this day. And we met at a restaurant where we'd gathered together on the last day of our final year's examination. So all the memories were refreshed... and though few of us are married, it was not at all a limitation to all the fun and masti we had in that jam packed restaurant... so much so that many people actualy turned to see us! (for the masti, not for 'us'!)
2. After that met Ragga after many days, again! Lately he's been busy been busy with his project, and me with my work.... and this meeting was exact in contrast of what we generally have.. we discussed about MBA, MTech, jobs, and Life!! my god, whatever has happened to us! fortunately, we realized this soon and decided to return to our normal self by sharing some new PJs..! And he told me that i suck big time!! :) It's so nice to meet people who care for you and love you relentlessly...
3. While i was checking out few tshirts (again!) at Globus with my friends, few of my students, who were shopping there came to meet me.. and we talked about their project, how good collection this store has, about a new play which some of them are doing, about this new movie they just wached.. after they left by showing me way to a very good range of cardigans, my friends told me how good they felt by looking at the conversation a lecturer was having with her students.. and wished we also had few lecturers back then... this made my day! My students love me! And people want/wanted to have a teacher like me! :)

Impluse, Planned, Unplanned...

1. Visited the boutique after so many days... Though i had to collect Aai's dresses, i ended up ordering a couple of new varieties for myself.. apart from the two shirts which i bought! This happens every time... yes, every time... :( I always decide i'll not buy anything, or at the max one shirt or a top or a suit.. but i just love clothes.. and i love to experiment with them.. and everytime i console myself with the same excuse!
2. Had gone to this book market with Swap. This was on my agenda for so long, that i was really excited about it, because i had a full list of books which i wanted to purchase. And i had decided that i'll buy at least 5-6 of them today. But as luck would have it, those vendors were not there, as a part of some improvement trust program, and nobody knew where were they shifted! Hell!! Now i'll have to wait till i fix my next trip to either Pune or Mumbai. And this will not happen at least for the next 3 months... Swap consoled me by asking me to take these from the library. Of course i will! Don't see much of a choice for sometime. But these are the ones which i want in my collection, and not just read and returned!
3. Got a chance to have paav-bhaji after such a long time... one of my fav dishes... at least this was a better part of the evening... hot paav-bhaji with tarri, cold drink and icecream in the fridge! Best way to end a hectic day, and having known that there is a two days holiday after that, makes it even more pleasent!

Discussions, Record, Play..

1. Everybody is talking about the populist budget.. and for me, that discussion always brings out something new, new perspectives, new insights, analysis... (phew!).. i will have so many things to discuss with my students.. and now i can give them new projects..
2. I checked out my balance in the account.. and now i have decided not to spend a single money on me for at least 15 days.... no shopping, no eating out, no faltu kharche... if i do that, i'll achieve a new record!!
3. There is a very good play on sunday night, and i cannot go to watch it coz i have to go to work early on monday.. i hate sunday nights.. why can't these people have such plays on saturdays?

Cuisine,Surprises, treat..

1. One of my favourite junk food, vada - paav..! And that too after a long shopping of about 3 hours was something which just cannot be compared with the best of the cuisines in the world... It made my day.. and the fact that i got almost everything which i wanted, it was just an icing on the cake!
2. How could i resist myself after i came to know that there is a sale in Montina... and if i would have told Aai about it, she wouldn't have allowed me to even go there.. So i went into that paradize, and added to my already flooded collection of shoes and chappals, two brand new ones...! And when i saw the look on Aai's face after showing those to her, i thought she would scold me like anything. instead she surprised me by saying that we'll need a new closet for these..!!
3. I am going to make khandvi today.. i just love that dish.. and it so difficult to prepare, i just cannot find it in any store, unless i place an order.. so thinking to treat myself by making it on my own, one of the best dishes i can make...

Retail, Party, Petrol...

1. For the second time i have cancelled my shopping plans :( so unlike me! First it was bad health, now it is load of work... And as the list is too large, i'll have to take at least 2 hrs for that.. but fortunatly almost everything can be purchased from Westside and Pyramids (naah, Indiabulls megastore!!)... so that i don't have to go and search for the shops first and then quality materials... Thank god for the retail boom!!
2. Now only me and Aai are at home...Shrirang has again gone to Jaipur for inter - NIT tournaments.. so it's fun time again..and now i'm thinking of various ideas on how to spend the "all girls' day"..! :)
3. Suddenly i have realized that for all these things, i'll have to fill up my car with petrol, and now i am again looking at my list of shopping to be done.. let's see where can i cut down my expenses to meet my petrol expenses... :((
