Travel, Movie, Home...

1. It's so great to have a lovely long weekend after such a long time!! But then, we could not make any plans in advance.. so last moment plan : Coorg / Mysore..!!
2. News channels just do not have any other new to show other than MNIK today! Was wondering, if so much of force is deployed at the theatres, what if some terrosist blow something more imp?! Thinking people here have their own fights, why not fuel it! ! I am sick of this news now.. and now my husband wants to watch this movie!! Arggghhhh...
3. Specially on holidays i remember my old home (the one before marriage!!).. when Aai used to make special breakfast even if we used to get up at 10!! Now, i have to get up early to make the breakfast!!

Satisfaction, connection, irritation...

1. Finally, i almost completed the work which was given to me. Cannot say completed, coz 1% is still remaining and is completely out of my duty/right/ability to do that 1%... but if that tiny part goes wrong (which i would not be able to help), the whole 99% would be gone! Yet, i am happy and satisfied!!
2. My routine call to Andy in the morning was not as usual cheerful. He was not well,which made me feel bad. I let him sleep for some time (by giving some tips which i get frequently!), and did my work. After that i called him again, only to find out that he is even more sick. I requested him to go to doctor, and realized that suddenly my appetite has gone. Till evening i could not eat anything, except gulping lots of tea. and when he told me he was feeling better and had some medicines and food, then i felt relieved and thought of having some food myself, now feeling a bit sick by not eating anything! How connected i am to all his things... :)
3. Had a big fight with Shrirang.. Younger brothers are nothing but pain in the neck.. he started this fight over the TV remote (he wanted to watch stupid IPL AND some premier league), then passed on to who will fill the bottles in the fridge (which he finishes off), then for scattering clothes on MY bed (this is so irritating!) to finally giving money for ice-cream(i don't understand how can he expect me to give money even after such fights)!!! and unfortunately, he's so huge, i just cannot exihibit my physical strengths(??) in front of him.. my right arm is still aching.. :(

Cuisine,Surprises, treat..

1. One of my favourite junk food, vada - paav..! And that too after a long shopping of about 3 hours was something which just cannot be compared with the best of the cuisines in the world... It made my day.. and the fact that i got almost everything which i wanted, it was just an icing on the cake!
2. How could i resist myself after i came to know that there is a sale in Montina... and if i would have told Aai about it, she wouldn't have allowed me to even go there.. So i went into that paradize, and added to my already flooded collection of shoes and chappals, two brand new ones...! And when i saw the look on Aai's face after showing those to her, i thought she would scold me like anything. instead she surprised me by saying that we'll need a new closet for these..!!
3. I am going to make khandvi today.. i just love that dish.. and it so difficult to prepare, i just cannot find it in any store, unless i place an order.. so thinking to treat myself by making it on my own, one of the best dishes i can make...

Rest, Breakfast in the evening, Calls' season..

1. Got a much needed rest.. It was a holiday in college because of the foundation day, so just had a nice time at home, sleeping, eating (yes, i did that!!!) and watching "Taare zameen par" with Aai (and watching her cry!!!!!) on the CD (with good print) which Shrirang bought. Couldn't ask for anything more on a working day otherwise!
2. In the evening went to this award function for journalists, organized by the society to which our college belongs to. After the function was over, somebody said "now let's go and have breakfast".. what? breakfast?? in the evening?? it should've been 'snacks'.. yes, but no,how could me and my fellow colleagues leave this chance of being sarcastic and then laugh over it for sometime??!!! (i've really got this great company at work...we share this habit!!) so we did that and came back without having breakfast!
3. So many people got GD PI calls!!! This is what Andy said, and i couldn't help but agree with him.. at least 4 people whom i know got calls from Andy's college..one of them being my student.. I'm really happy that Ashish and Swap (finally) got this call... way to go people..now just convert it!
